We also enjoyed vegetarian dishes like oven-baked eggplant, pasta with tomato sauce, and a classic Greek salad. Every dish was excellent.
The restaurant had a cozy, rustic charm. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. As vegetarians avoiding alcohol and animal products, we were impressed by their attentiveness and flexibility.

The dishes were fresh, authentic, delicious and big portions, so make sure you bring a friend to share! We were offered a local drink "Mastik" to try, and was also delicious. The staff were all friendly, polite, and loved the family owned atmosphere.

I wasn't quite ready for the size of the beef but I managed to eat it all up. It was sublime.
I washed it all down with greek coffee which tasted fantastic. I'm not a coffee drinker but it seemed good to me.
The staff were really lovely and kind. I had a lovely time here. If you're in this amazing town, come to Bounos for some refreshments 😊- Group size

If you ever find yourself in Nafplio and you’re looking for a seafood taverna that you’ll never forget, this is the place to be! From the very first moment we sat down, we felt completely at home — the staff were so friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
And the food? Absolutely amazing! Every single dish we tried was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can really taste the love and care that goes into the cooking.
It’s one of those places where you don’t just go to eat — you go to enjoy, relax, and create beautiful memories. I can’t recommend it enough! I want to thank the Team of Bounos- Φαγητό

I had the octopus and local wine - both delicious and freshly made. It wasn't very busy so I had a nice chat with a friendly and helpful waiter, and was treated to a free dessert by the owner. Highly recommend this place if you like sea food. It is right by the harbour, very clean, nice atmosphere and great service.

I went with my boyfriend in one of our last nights of our holiday. I have to say I was very pleased with their fish. Everything we ordered was excellent and exceeded our expectations 💯. I can even say it was from the best fishes I’ve ever eaten!!! Fresh and high quality food, they know what they do and in a very professional manner. Nice environment and fantastic service. 5/5 stars is not enough 😊.

Was recommended by our host and she was spot on, we arrived at 6pm had our choice of tables...when leaving there was not a table available...yet most of neighboring resturants were almost empty. Great food, welcoming and helpful staff....

The first seafood restaurant we’ve been to since arriving in Greece and it sets the bar high. The helpings were huge and the complimentary bread and panacota were appreciated. I honestly don’t think I’ve had prawns this fresh and juicy before - they made for a beautiful pasta. Highly recommended!

The decorations are plain, but the food was astonishing. The amount is hu~ge, the taste is ama~zing~ And the most important thing is it’s the first time in Greek I get a plate of green leaf salad instead of tomato-cucumber-cheese salad~~~

Only restaurant that didn't heckle us for business as we walked the promenade. We enjoyed something from every part of the menu and every delicious bite. Yes, cost more than a grill house, but would rank it with top fish houses we have eaten around the world.

The service was 10/10! The food was very good and tasted fresh. We could have easily ordered many different small plates because the two we had (the eggplant and calamari) were delicious. The portions were generous and our waiter even recommended some changes to our main dish to make it even better.

Loved the atmosphere. I visited in October when the evening are cool and stayed outside. The staff is friendly and attentive. I didn't order much, but the simple salad and llfriend fish were delicious.

Good money for poor food. Don't go! The fish soup served with 7 bones although I complained they fully charged for it. The stuffed calamary stuffing was bad !! Tourists trap.
